Repeat Prescription Requests

HULL & YORK PATIENTS:

From Tuesday 1 September our telephone repeat prescription ordering service will be for our most vulnerable patients only. It is just for people who are housebound, have no internet access and who do not have anyone else who can request their medication for them. Vulnerable people are those who cannot request their prescription online, or drop off a paper request into the practice.

We limit this service to a small number of people who have absolutely no other option.

Requests via online or via paper are more accurate and safer.

Please help us to help our most vulnerable patients by not using telephone ordering unless you have no other option. It’s very easy to use our online service. You may want to ask family and friends to order medication on your behalf if you are struggling.

It’s easy to do this online via the NHS App – you can nominate any local pharmacy too so it will be sent to the pharmacy you choose.
