Dr Gilby joins as Hull GP Partner

Haxby Group is delighted to welcome Dr Dan Gilby who joins the team as a new GP Partner in Hull.

Dr Gilby is a GP with special interest in care of the elderly and managing clinical frailty. He joins Haxby Group having worked at a large GP practice in the East Riding of Yorkshire, where he set up a clinic, managing frailty and complex multi-system disease.

He did his medical training at the University of Nottingham and did his GP training in Hull. He has a background in cancer research, with a PhD in Leukaemia research from the University of Sheffield. Dr Gilby also worked as a post-doctoral researcher, studying the skin cancer Melanoma at the University of Manchester.

In his spare time he enjoys travelling and spending time with his young family.
